Nominate Your Community's 'Coffeetown Captain' for This Fall
Read more to find out how, and get those nominees in
If you know about Coffeetown, you know about the Big Tire Halftime Show.
High school football radio broadcasts always make their best efforts to recognize that player or coach that’s doing something ‘on and off the field,’ and I decided that would be an important part of any Coffeetown clip I made.
With high school football in flux for this fall, I wanted to give the people that enjoy Coffeetown a chance to recognize those real people in their communities.
I think the best way for me to honor them would be to interview them, and make them a part of any Coffeetown clip I create this fall (and yes - Coffeetown will be playing this season).
So today, you have the chance to send your recommendations in to me. I’m calling it the ‘Coffeetown Captain,’ and I need your help finding that person in your town.
Whether it’s a coach, a player, a cheerleader, a team mom, someone in the band, a teacher, or a trainer, there is an individual that comes to mind.
Someone that, without them, high school football in your community would not be possible as you know it.
I want to hear from you, because you know that person better than me. Just give me the chance to tell the world about them through Coffeetown’s Big Tire Halftime show.
E-mail me at Wes@TacklerMedia.com with
- the subject ‘Coffeetown Captain’
- a few sentences about why they deserve it
- how I can contact them
and I will handle the rest.
One more thing for players - whether you’re playing or not this season - I would love the chance to do a play-by-play of your high school football highlight tape in the voice of Coffeetown. My inbox is open for your clips as well.
Thank you so much for your help. I have a ton of support for my career from you because of these high school football videos. I hope I can return the favor for you this fall.
